Deleting and Managing Maps

Accessing Map Management Options

1. Open the YouMap App on your device.

2. Go to My World:
• Tap the My World tab in the bottom navigation bar.

1. Open the Map Library:
• Tap on the Map Library button at the top of the My World screen.

1. Select the Map:
• Tap on the map you want to manage.

2. Access Map Settings:
• Tap on the Settings Icon or Manage Map button to open options.

Deleting a Map

1. Select Delete Map:
• In the map’s settings, tap Delete Map.

2. Confirm Deletion:
• You’ll be asked to confirm. Remember, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

3. Complete the Deletion:
• Confirm your choice to delete the map from your account and remove all associated posts and data.

Unfollowing a Map

1. Select Unfollow Map:
• In the map’s settings, tap Unfollow Map.

2. Confirm Unfollow:
• Confirm that you want to unfollow the map. Unfollowing will remove the map from your My World tab but will not delete it from YouMap.

3. Access Unfollowed Maps in Discovery:
• You can still find and follow the map again through the Discovery Tab.

Reordering Maps in the Map Library

1. Open the Map Library:
• Go to the map library to see a list of followed and created maps.

2. Press and Hold to Reorder:
• Press and hold a map’s icon, then drag and drop it to rearrange your preferred order.

3. Release to Place:
• Release the map in its new position.

Using Favorites for Quick Access

1. Mark Maps as Favorites:
• In the map settings, tap Add to Favorites to prioritize certain maps.

2. View Favorite Maps First:
• Favorite maps will appear at the top of your Map Library for easy access.
