Organizing Your Maps in My World

Accessing My World

1. Open the YouMap App on your device.

2. Tap on the My World Tab

located at the bottom navigation bar.

Using the Map Carousel

1. View Your Maps:
• At the bottom (or top when expanded) of the My World screen, you'll see a carousel of circular map icons representing the maps you follow or have created.

2. Reorder Maps:
• Press and Hold a Map Icon.
• Drag the Map Icon to your desired position in the carousel.
• Release to place it.

3. Add More Maps:
• Swipe to the End of the Carousel.
• Tap on the Map Library Button

• Browse Your Followed Maps and Created/Moderated Maps.
• Follow New Maps by tapping the Follow button on maps that interest you.

Adjusting Map Views

Switching Between Map and List Views

1. Select a Map:
• Tap on a Map Icon in your carousel to open it.

2. Switch to List View:
• Drag Up the Bottom Navigation Bar to transition from Map View to List View.
• The List View displays posts from the selected map in a chronological list.

3. Return to Map View:
• Drag Down the Navigation Bar to switch back to the Map View.

Managing Notifications for Maps

Adjusting Notification Settings

1. Access Your Profile Settings:
• Tap on Your Profile Icon

at the top right corner of the screen.

• Select Settings from the menu.

2. Open Notification Settings:
• Tap on Notifications.

3. Customize Your Notifications:
• Toggle Notifications On or Off for:
• Likes
• Comments
• New Followers
• New Posts on Followed Maps

4. Mute Notifications from Specific Maps:
• Go to the Map's Details Page:
• Tap on the Map Icon to open it.
• Access Map Settings:
• Tap the Settings Icon

(often a gear or three dots).

• Adjust Notification Preferences for that map.

Updating Your Interests

Following and Unfollowing Maps

1. Follow New Maps:
• Use the Discovery Tab to find new maps:
• Tap on the Discovery Tab.
• Browse Categories and explore maps that align with your interests.
• Tap the Follow Button on maps you want to add to your My World tab.

2. Unfollow Maps:
• Access the Map Library:
• Tap on the Map Library Button in the carousel.
• Select Followed Maps.
• Unfollow a Map:
• Tap on the Map to open it.
• Tap the Following Button to unfollow.

Adjusting Language and Region Preferences

Changing Language Settings

1. Access Your Profile Settings:
• Tap on Your Profile Icon and select Settings.

2. Select Language and Region.

3. Change Your Language:
• Tap on Language.
• Select Your Preferred Language from the list.

4. Set Your Region:
• Tap on Region.
• Choose Your Region to see more localized content.
