Editing or Deleting a Post
Editing or deleting posts on YouMap is straightforward, allowing you to keep your contributions accurate and relevant. Follow this guide to learn how to manage your posts efficiently.
Accessing Your Posts
- Open the My World Tab
- Tap the My World Tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Navigate to Your Posts
- Select Your Posts from the options to see all your contributions across maps. Alternatively, you can find your post list in the user profile page.
- Browse your posts and locate the one you wish to edit or delete.
Editing a Post
- Select the Post to Edit
- Tap on the post you want to edit to open its details.
- Edit Content
- Tap the menu icon in the upper right corner and then tap Edit to modify fields such as title, description, or media.
- Save Changes
- After making edits, tap Save to update the post. Your revised post will appear immediately on the map and on the post feed.
Deleting a Post
- Select the Post to Delete
- Open the post you want to remove.
- Tap the menu icon in the upper right corner and then tap Delete to delete your post.
- Confirm Deletion
- Confirm that you want to delete the post permanently. Once deleted, it cannot be recovered, and it will no longer appear on the map.
