YouMap uses your location to show posts near you and let you add posts to the map. You can update your location permission at any time through your device settings.
How to update location permissions
- Open your iPhone Settings.
- Scroll down and tap YouMap.
- Tap Location.
- Choose your preferred permission level: Never, Ask Next Time, While Using the App, or Always.
We recommend selecting the option While Using the App. This gives YouMap access to your location when you're actively using it, so you can see nearby posts and add your own, without running in the background.
